In 1988, I was given a dream. In that dream, I was viewing the streets of Washington, D.C. There was a parade taking place in the dream. In that dream of this parade, on a float stood a man who was wearing a mask like that of Jason in the Friday the 13th movies. I saw that man being paraded around the streets of Washington, D.C. and people were worshipping this man. I knew who that man was — The Anti-Christ. When I saw this, immediately I cried out in the dream, “Oh No!” It was a visceral response to what I saw taking place. In that dream, there was another man who stood by me and comforted me. It was an angel or the Lord Himself. After having that dream, I realized America was going to go through major changes; it would get darker and darker. And it has. That’s what I’d like to talk about in this post.
America is facing a flood of evil. America has become a hub for that evil. In many ways, America has become the new Babylon with New York city and Washington, D.C. as its hubs . In scripture, Babylon was a reference point for Satan’s city. In scripture, two cities stand out, Jerusalem and Babylon. And a war has been taking place between those two cities for 3,000+ years. That’s incomprehensible, isn’t it? Yet, factually speaking, it’s true. In scripture, one of the main points is: God allows Jerusalem, His city, to be taken captive by Babylon, Satan’s city. Israel’s greatest prophets prophesy of this captivity. Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel are all shown Jerusalem being taken captive. Israel doesn’t believe or accept what those prophets said as being true, but it was. Why did God allow that captivity to take place? The wickedness of His own people.
Previously, I prophesied that The Handwriting Was On the Wall. That phrase, handwriting on the wall, is a metaphor for judgment. It’s taken from the book of the prophet Daniel. In Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar’s son or grandson, Belshazzar, was celebrating at a feast with his leaders. In the middle of celebrating, Belshazzar calls for the golden vessels taken from the temple at Jerusalem to be used in that feast. Then, in an act of defiance towards heaven, he takes those holy vessels used in the Lord’s temple and he uses them to praise “the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.” Dan. 5:4. While doing that, a finger comes out of nowhere and writes this phrase on the wall, “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.” Dan. 5:25.
In 1955, two of America’s greatest men of God at the time, Billy Graham and William Branham, spoke the same message to America — the handwriting is on the wall. It was a message of the coming judgment that would take place in America. Later, a prophet, David Wilkerson, was given terrifying visions of the judgment coming to America. In his visions, he saw the streets of America burning, riots, blackouts, and worse. In response to his visions, he planted a church, Times Square Church, at ground zero for what was coming — New York City. Wilkerson believed God’s judgment could be averted and he tirelessly worked towards that end. Today, we are living in the times of judgment prophesied by those great men of God and the question becomes: What shall we now do?
Truth be told, the barbarians are no longer at the gates. Rather, they are ruling the cities. America has been corrupted from the inside. Certain forces have worked tirelessly to establish darkness in America. Nevertheless, the Church’s response should be like that of Wilkerson, Graham, and Branham: to plant churches, evangelize the lost, and bring healing and deliverance to the broken. In the middle of judgment, we must keep our focus and understand this truth: God’s judgment always establishes God’s will. It was true in Babylon during the days of Belshazzar, and it is just as true today. Yes, America may be under the judgment of God, but His judgment isn’t meant for inevitability. No, it’s meant to bring repentance, to bring a new beginning.
Where is America going?
That brings me to my question: Where is America going? Although I believe that question is still to be decided, it’s evident that America is moving towards what I saw in that dream in 1988. Whether what I saw was the literal Anti-Christ or a figurative antichrist, I don’t know (although I believe it was the literal Anti-Christ because my dreams are mostly literal not figurative). What I do know is America and the church in America has been given a five year reprieve of the coming judgment. That reprieve started in August of 2024. We have until the end of 2029 to prepare for what is coming. What is coming after 2029? I don’t know. But I don’t think it will be good. Although President Trump’s emergence is mirroring these times, he isn’t the author of these times. God is.
Yes, contrary to the assertions of some, God was the One who raised up President Trump. And contrary to the assertions by some, President Trump isn’t racist, sexist, tyrannical, or a host of other names. What he is, is effective. He has improved America by leaps and bounds. As prophesied, he has been a Cyrus to Israel. And I would like to believe that America is entering into a new golden age, as he has predicted. But I don’t think that will happen. Despite the gains and accomplishments made, America, like someone delivered from demons, may very well have it seven times worse after the demons were cast out. The rot in America is so pervasive and cancerous that, to save America, America, as it has been, may die.
In my book, Secret Corruption, I stated that America was on the road to hell. As it has been said, the road to hell is paved with the best of intentions. In my book, Breaking the Spell Over America, I discuss the systematic plan to change the laws of America, undo those laws, and entrench a lawless system in America that imitates law. That has already happened over the last 87 years. That lawless system is entrenched in our current legal system. I am not surprised by the pushback of the judiciary against President Trump and longstanding legal precedents. That is merely symptomatic of the greater issue: the lawlessness of our legal system. And while I believe President Trump will eventually succeed before the current Supreme Court, in reality, the delays he experiences will likely cause his ultimate goals to fail. The question: Why will that happen?
The answer is, the Church in America. America has tremendous pronouncements over it: America shall be saved. I love that and am in agreement with that. Yes, I want that for America. But I am reminded of that dream in 1988. I saw the Anti-Christ being celebrated, venerated, paraded, and worshipped on the streets of Washington, D.C. At the time, what I saw seemed impossible — Satan’s son being adored by crowds of Americans. Now, what was impossible now appears to be likely. And I cannot blame America’s politicians for this ghastly outcome. No, the blame rests solely on the shoulders of the Church. Ultimately, we are responsible. Our desire to “check out” rather than “show up” is the root cause for what we see happening.
We, the Church, must own that. We must repent for our ways. We must humble ourselves. We must turn to God. We must pray. And we must stand against evil, as our founding fathers did. The call of God to those in America today is the same as the call of God to Israel during the days of Ezekiel: “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.” Ezek. 22:30, NLT. Contrary to the popular belief that Ezekiel is calling for prayer and intercession in this verse, he isn’t. Rather, God is calling for justice to be restored. God is looking for someone, anyone, to restore justice in America. And restoration of America must begin here. Notice, it doesn’t take many. It only takes one.
God is looking for one person to stand against the tide of evil in His name. He needs a man or woman who is ready, willing, and able to do that. Now, some may consider that a fool’s errand, but it isn’t. No, it’s not impossible for America to be turned. America is not too far gone. And the coming judgment isn’t meant to destroy the righteous. Rather, it will fall on the house of the wicked. I remember when I went to Haiti in 2011. I saw the devastation caused by the earthquake in 2010. Everything was in ruins. But Haiti’s churches remained. The schools were destroyed. So, the children went to school in the churches. Every church pastor had hundreds of children attending school in them. Yes, a nation can be turned to God…overnight!
My prayer for America is that America will be turned back to God, to righteousness, to justice. If not the easy way, then the hard way. Yes, the Bible shows us the easy way — we humble ourselves. And it shows us the hard way — God humbles us. We choose! “[A]s for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Josh. 24:15.
I pray that you will make the same choice.
Let us pray!
