Why am I so opposed to Islam? Because Islam, contrary to popular belief, is not a religion. No, it’s a political movement disguised as a religion. The goal of Islam is subjugation. That’s the history of Islam since the time of Muhammad. And it has become extremely good at doing just that — subjugating. How do I know? Many of the countries in the Middle East were Christian at one time. Now, those same nations are about 98% Islamic. And Christianity has all but been destroyed in those countries. In fact, in many of them, they enforce the death penalty for converting from Islam to Christianity. Yes, Islam is evil, pure evil. And we, believers in Jesus Christ, should protect ourselves from it.
Islam is more than a political movement or religion; it’s a demonic entity. Islam is ruled and governed by a demonic entity — the spirit of Allah. According to the Apostle Paul, “I am saying that these sacrifices are offered to demons, not to God. And I don’t want you to participate with demons.” Yes, all those things done in sacrifice and service to Allah are being done not to God but to a demonic entity, Allah. Let us not confuse the God of the Bible with the god of Islam. No! We must be clear about who and what we worship. The God of the Bible is not the same as the god of Islam. Neither because Islam is monotheistic does it mean they worship the same God that we as believers in Jesus Christ worship. As the Apostle John said, “Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.” 1 John 2:23, Legacy Standard Bible.
The crux of Christianity is receiving the Messiah, Jesus, the Anointed One, the Christ. Anyone who fails to receive the Son, as the Apostle John said, “does not have the Father”. That’s the reason Christians must be clear about who and what we worship. And that’s the reason the God of the Bible isn’t the god of Islam. Islam doesn’t receive the Son. No, they openly deny the Son. That’s the crux of their political religious movement — “Allah has no son”, which is what those who profess their belief in Islam will say. The god of Islam cannot be the God of the Bible. Nor should Christians equate the two. No, the god of Islam and the God of the Bible aren’t the same. Rather, Islam is a pagan religion and it should be seen clearly by believers in Jesus Christ for what it is — a monotheistic form of paganism.
By clearly defining terms, we can clearly see the differences between Islam and Christianity. Those who follow Islam, and murder, rape, and maim in the name of Allah, while possessed by the spirit of Allah, are murderers. God cannot reward anyone who does evil. The Apostle John makes that clear, “If you hate each other, you are murderers, and we know murderers do not have eternal life.” 1 John 3:15, CEV. That’s right! That’s the clear, definitive teaching of God’s Word: “[M]urderers do not have eternal life”. Unequivocal. Definitive. Unadulterated. Pure. As the Apostle James clearly defines true Christianity, “Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27, Berean Standard Bible.
The God of the Bible is the God of pure and undefiled love. As the Apostle John says, “Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:8, Berean Standard Bible. The god of Islam isn’t defined by love; rather, Islam’s god is defined by hate. That’s what Islam preaches — hate. Islam has an ideology of hate, and produces hate in those who believe it. As I have said, Islam is evil. And Islam must be seen for what it is — evil. We cannot close a blind eye to the evil of Islam. No! We must recognize Islam for what it truly is — a political movement disguised as a religion producing hatred in the hearts of its practitioners. That’s the spirit of Allah. And it is evil.
As the Apostle Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:22, CEV, “and don't have anything to do with evil.” That means, avoid it, stay away from it, keep away from it, and don’t let it have any foothold in your life. Yes, we must guard ourselves from the evil of Islam, the spirit behind Islam, and the hatred that Islam produces by its evils. As Jesus said in Matthew 24:12, CEV, “Evil will spread and cause many people to stop loving others.” The rise of Islam and the spread of Islam is one of the greatest signs of the coming of Christ. And the spirit of Allah will give way and yield to the Spirit of God — the true God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Let us pray!
