Yes, Elijah's will begin to rise across the earth. Why has God reserved such a generation of Elijah's for this season in history? Because of the battle over this generation. Elijah was a prophet of last resort. When God turned to Elijah, Israel was completely given over to Baal. Today, this generation, especially leaders, has been given over to its own Baal's.
On August 31, 2015, it was confirmed that the arch of the temple of Baal was destroyed by ISIS fighters. Later, it was reported that 2 exact replicas of that arch were made and were scheduled for showing in both London and New York in late 2016. In September 2018, a replica of that arch was shown in Washington, D.C. Interestingly, that arch was raised in Washington, D.C. at the same time Brett Kavanaugh was appearing before the Senate for confirmation hearings on his appointment to the Supreme Court.
It would be easy to miss the significance of these events. ISIS fighters (wicked and evil men) destroyed the original temple of Baal. Then, that temple was replicated for presentation at significant places in the UK and USA. Further, it was shown at the same time as Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings. The battle over his appointment was contested over the "sacrifice of children" on the altar of abortion.
Baal was a heathen God that demanded children's blood. In Israel, child sacrifice was a core tenet in idolatrous worship. Through child sacrifice, Baal worshippers gained demonic power. In 2 Kgs. 3:24-27, Israel is waging war against Moab. The king of Moab recognizes that he is losing the battle. In response to that sure loss, the king of Moab offers his eldest son as a burnt offering. The god of the Moabites was Chemosh.
Idolatry was prevalent during Elijah's day. Elijah's name literally means Jehovah is God, Yahweh is God, or the Lord is God. Interestingly, Baal also meant lord. We can see the battle already, Jehovah versus Baal. And that battle took place. Elijah met Baal's prophets on Mount Carmel. Elijah said to Baal's prophet: you go first. They called on their god. Nothing happened. Elijah called on Jehovah. From heaven, fire came down and consumed the sacrifice on Elijah's altar.
The similarities are significant. The battlegrounds are being prepared. Altars erected. Now, the only thing that remains is the emergence of Elijah. Before the first coming of Christ, John the Baptist, who came in the spirit and power of Elijah, emerged from his place of hiding in the wilderness and shook Israel to its religious core. Now, a generation of Elijah's is being prepared to come and shake all the vestiges of our religious nature to reveal Jesus Christ.
Yes, Elijah will emerge to this generation. But it will not be a single prophet carrying the spirit and power of Elijah like John the Baptist. No, it will be an entire army of prophets who will come in the spirit and power of Elijah. Wow! And the battle that will take place in the coming generation will be greater than what took place between Elijah and the false prophets of Baal and John the Baptist and King Herod.
Jezebel was present and prominent in Elijah's life and John the Baptist's life. In Elijah's life, Elijah chose to run from Jezebel. John the Baptist was martyred through the combined actions of Herod's wife's daughter, Salome, and Herod's wife, Herodias. In them, we see Jezebel operating through 2 women united in opposition to John the Baptist. Yes, as Elijah's arise, Jezebel's also arise. Jezebel represents the counterfeit prophetic movement.
There is a counterfeit prophetic movement that is arising simultaneously with and amongst this generation of Elijah's. Some of those false prophets who are involved in this counterfeit prophetic movement will have started as true prophets. Yes, this is a dangerous time for prophets. Yes, prophets must be sober and vigilant; we must not get sidetracked from our great calling through Jezebel's tricks. We must be on guard, always, and at all times.
As this emerging generation of Elijah's steps forward into the spotlight, great shifts will happen in political, business, geographical, and even weather patterns. Those natural events that will take place are signs of the coming upheavals brought about by the true word of the Lord through true prophets acting under the spirit and power of Elijah, collectively. It will be a battle of Biblical proportions.
Get ready! I believe more senior prophets are on the earth now than at any time in history. That many senior prophets speaking the pure, unadulterated Word of the Lord will cause spiritual shockwaves in the earth that will shake things up for years. Upheaval, famines, droughts, downturns, resurrections, supernatural provisions, angelic visitations, supernatural manifestations will accompany this time in history.
An Elijah generation is emerging. NOW! Amen.
